The Neumann U67 is a beautifully designed large diaphragm multi-pattern tube microphone that was originally released in 1960 that quickly became a standard in the studio recording industry. Heard on countless records, it is still highly regarded and used today by top audio engineers that are lucky to own one. There have been many imitations over the years, but now, you can own the real deal.. Neumann is now reissuing the U67 with the same K67 Capsule and electronic design from their original archived documentation. The U67 can be used on a wide variety of musical instruments, but, it especially shines on vocals! This highly versatile microphone offers three selectable polar patterns, 124dB SPL, and the power supply was redesigned to accommodate todays premium grade tubes. The EF86 tubes have been carefully selected as well as the BV 12 output transformer for being true to its original documentation. This microphone is hand-made and hand soldered in Germany. And, the NU 67 power supply is completely compatible with the original U 67 microphones.
